Refund or Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation of tour / travel package services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be Varies upon nature of  Tour but in general  effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • 45 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour / service cost
  • 15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour / service cost
  • 07 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost
  • 3 days prior to arrival OR No Show: No Refund

Note: Written cancellation will accept on all working days, except Sunday, Any cancellation sent on Sunday’s will be considered on next working day (Monday).

For the Festivals, Peek Season and new year period from 20 Dec to 05 Jan the payment is non-refundable.

In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.

Wildlife Safaris cancellation: All the wildlife safaris booked into any of Indian Wildlife National Park/Sanctuaries are non refundable. Even date change request will be considered as cancellation and no payment will be refunded/ adjusted against it.

Mode & Duration of Refund

You acknowledge and understand that refund may be made in the form of a credit note/ voucher such that it may be used for future travel subject to terms applicable there on or may be done in cash. In all cases, mode of refund (credit note or cash) is dependent upon the Service Provider as the case may be.

If your refund are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

It would take at least minimum of 15 to 45 days to process the refund (if due).

Refunds (If any) for amendments and/or cancellations will be paid directly to the Client for booking made directly with the Company by way of NEFT / RTGS / Crossed cheque or by credit card it will be reversed to their credit card account at the discretion of the company. It would at least take 45 days to process refunds.

Any service booked in advance and cancelled as per booking policy, refund will be done in the same mode of payment after deducting cancellation charges and actual bank charges if any for refund. ( to customer bank account if paid by bank transfer, net banking mode / credit /debit card – reversal to their respective credit card account will be done. This process will take 15 to 45 days to reflect in their account.

Clients have option to keep their refund money in our account and collect credit certificate and utilise the same with 24 months.

It is clearly understood that there shall be no refund whatsoever if the Client does not or cannot utilize any of the services like hotels, sightseeing, rides, cruises, meals, entrance fees, optional tours etc., due to any reason whatsoever.

If the tour or any part thereof cannot be conducted due to Force Majeure or Vis Majeure, Triptoplaces.com / HIJAI shall not be responsible to give any refund to you. However, at its sole discretion, Triptoplaces.com / HIJAI gives the refund based on various factors like the number of participants, the cancellation policies of suppliers like hoteliers, coach operators, etc. the decision of the Triptoplaces.com / HIJAI on the quantum of refund shall be final.

Covid-19_Bookings, Refund And Cancellations :

The Customer agrees that due to recent outbreak of COVID-19 which has been declared as pandemic, there may be instances, where the end service provider (including Travel Agent) either cancels the booking or refuses to provide the services, as agreed with the Customer, by assigning or not assigning any specific reason for such refusal. Refusal of service may be due to the reasons including but not limited to the Customer:

  • Exhibiting any symptoms associated with COVID 19.Refusing to comply with safety advisories, like wearing protective gear, complying with social distancing norms etc. Suffering of any ailment making the Customer vulnerable to the virus Posing a threat to the health and safety of others or Any other condition put forward by the Central Government, State Governments and statutory bodies etc.
In such cases we will assume no liability for the refusal of service by the end service provider. The Customer also agrees that refund, if any, for such bookings will be processed by Triptoplaces.com / HIJAI to the Customer subject to receipt of the same from the end service provider. The Customer further understands that due to the outbreak of COVID-19, there may be frequent changes in guidelines and/ or SOPs issued by the Central Government, State Governments and statutory bodies etc. that a traveler will have to follow in order to undertake the travel. The Customer agrees to abide with all such guidelines/SOP while undertaking any travel. In case Customer fails to adhere to the same which results in the refusal to travel, Triptoplaces.com / HIJAI will not be held liable for such refusal and refund, if any, shall be strictly as per the terms of the service provider.
